Mel & Duncan | August 13th, 2016

I shot a wedding waaaay back in August for my friend Duncan and his fiancee Mel. It’s taken me months to get this wedding post up – when writer’s block hits – it hits hard
I’ve known Duncan since high school. He was the best man at my wedding (almost seven years ago) and was there for ‘support’ the day Jimbo was born. So when he got in touch asking if I could/ would photograph his upcoming wedding to Mel, it was a no brainer for me… of course I would do it!
Before their wedding, Mel and I had not officially met, so I went into this a little nervous.. Ok, a lot nervous. But the moment I walked into the room where the ladies were getting ready, all those nerves went away. I was greeted with friendly smiles and wine… at this point.. I knew this is going to be a fun night.
The ceremony was beautiful. Small and intimate with close family and friends. The way these two look at each other — you can see & feel the love between them. We dined on delicious food, drank way too much wine and danced until our legs were rubber.
The night was perfect! Here’s a little peek at Mel & Duncan’s big day.
